NHS (HIV)

Consultation is a key ingredient in many brand and communication projects. The more you understand the issues and the more you take people on the journey with you, the more likely the chances of success. And never more has consultation played a central role than our work with NHS and in particular, the creation and roll out of a recent HIV awareness campaign.

This is a hugely sensitive area, with strongly held views about how HIV is most appropriately communicated to a number of at risk audiences. The end product was the result of a very collaborative approach, involving all the key health bodies, Scottish Government representatives, HIV charities and all conducted within strict inclusive guidelines.

The success of the project is probably best summed up in the words of our key client contact; Jane Hoeflich,

“As the main contact between NHS Health Scotland and Tayburn, I have to comment on the ease of working, the ‘nothing is a problem’ attitude and also the refreshing and confident nature of an agency asking ‘Are you sure?’ when faced with conflicting information.

The team from Tayburn remained calm, positive and above all respectful of the number of opinions around the table. They also made a concerted effort to learn, in great detail, about the subject matter at hand and so have always portrayed an air of confidence in meetings. This aspect of the agency acumen has provided NHS with a strong project team when meeting with the Advisory Group of external partners.”
