We’ve built a unique agency model; where individual expertise is fostered, and clients work directly with the experts in the areas they need support. With that in mind, we’re on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Account Manager to support our Creative Team on a maternity cover contract.

We’d be interested in hearing from you if you’re currently in an Account Management/Senior Account Management role and looking for a new challenge. The position will involve the management and planning of client accounts and internal resource, looking after brand, creative, digital and campaign-based projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a people-person from an agency background who possesses the following:

  • A confident and assertive attitude with proven experience of managing a variety of creative-led projects (branding, print, campaign, digital, web and video production)
  • A skilled approach in building and managing strong client and team relationships
  • A natural ability to analyse client needs, ask good questions and gather useful information from all key stakeholders and translate this into meaningful creative briefs
  • The confidence to use your knowledge and skills to advise and direct clients and colleagues in the most productive direction
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a superb organisational and systematic approach
  • Proven skills in developing new project proposals and supporting new business/pitch activities
  • A commitment to completing projects to a specific schedule and within agreed budgets with the ability to report on their progress effectively
  • A strong commercial understanding of how an agency works with responsibility for revenue, project profitability, margins/hourly rates as well as client budgets
  • Self-motivation and willingness to expand your knowledge
  • A get up-and-go attitude with no fear of getting your hands dirty.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administration and day-to-day client duties such as developing cost estimates, writing project briefs, managing resource and production, translation and management of client feedback, completing project proposals, industry/client research and reporting and analysis of projects.
  • Continual tracking and reporting of client commercial activity including ownership of the monthly invoicing targets, project margins and future projections for the creative team.
  • Lead continual improvement of processes related to creative project management, briefing, and delivery. Monitoring activities and proactively bring forward new proposals to enhance productivity.
  • Continual analysis of client relationships, quality standards and the financial status of client accounts and projects. Reporting on findings to line managers and company directors.
  • Playing a supporting role in the promotion of Tayburn and its activities through PR, social media, internal marketing projects, website content, event activity and award submissions.
  • Leading the way during client meetings, presentations and dedicated project proposals.
  • Research and exploration of new areas of business and opportunities for growth.

Salary up to £40k, dependent on skills and experience.
