Full Stack Developer

Tayburn builds remarkable brands using storytelling and technology. We have picked up over 100 creative and effectiveness awards in the last five years and we are privileged to work with an enviable list of brands such as Heineken, Scottish Rugby, Boe Gin, The Weir Group and FNZ.

You can never have enough talent in your team when you’re a busy agency supporting a brilliant range of clients.

We are on the hunt for an experienced front and backend web developer to help our first class development team build more fantastic digital experiences for the brands we support.

Like everybody else, we are all working remotely right now and whilst, ideally, you might be Edinburgh based for when we return to office environment, we are relaxed about your location.

What we’re most interested in seeing is whether you have the right skills to join the team and, as importantly, the right mindset.

Being willing to roll up your sleeves and work through a hectic schedule of development is part of it, but so is ambition to help move our agency forward in its technical ambitions.

You’ll need to be someone who cares about the detail and equally be committed to producing work to the very best standards, always having an eye on what’s coming next so that our practices stay relevant.  We like people who can move the dial and be innovative in their thinking and approach.

You need to be a great collaborator and communicator too – not just to ensure we deliver effective holistic solutions for the client – but also because our clients will enjoy hearing your passion for technology as an enabler for their marketing needs.

What’s critical is that you can convey complex solutions in a non-technical manner. And that you are commercial in your outlook – clients need value and returns on their spend. So we want smart thinkers in our agency who can define and deliver solutions that make commercial sense to our clients.

Goes without saying we need you to be able to problem solve – not just on the client projects but in terms of thinking out with the box – estimating, resourcing, delivery etc. We want you to feel empowered to provide ideas and solutions to the challenges that agencies wrestle with on a daily basis.

We care about our people and this year Tayburn has renewed its commitment to put the people agenda front and centre with lots of new initiatives being planned.  That’s on top of the obligatory socials, awards, gifting, snacks that is part and part of our agency life.

We succeed together. Developers and designers, client service and project management, strategists and management, pushing our capabilities forward for the good of our clients. Come be part of the Tayburn story.
